Detailed Narrative Description of the Project:
The PRIF facility covers 12 Pacific Island Countries (PICs) and supports five economic infrastructure subsectors – energy, telecommunications, transport (road, aviation, and maritime), waste management (as part of urban development), and water and sanitation. The PICs included under the PRIF Initiative are Cook Islands, Federated States of Micronesia (FSM), Kiribati, Nauru, Niue, Republic of the Marshall Islands (RMI), Palau, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tonga, Tuvalu and Vanuatu. PRIF member partners are the Asian Development Bank (ADB), Australian Aid, European Commission (EC), European Investment Bank (EIB), New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade (NZMFAT), and the World Bank Group (WBG), and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).


Detailed Description of Actual Services Provided by AGMES Consultants:
Provide comments and advice on issues of technical substance and methodology of TA and Knowledge products. The advice will include the provision of additional relevant information as well as identifying points in need of closer consideration or further reflection. Provide quality control of documents, including the general approach of the product in convey its findings and recommendations clearly and concisely: (i) Support the TA and Knowledge programs in project design and conceptualization stages; (ii) Provide advice and support to the Water and Sanitation SWG; (iii) Provide support to TA, Knowledge and Coordination capacity building activities


The deliverables may include the following: (i) Peer review reports on PCO products; (ii) Report on quality control of documents; (iii) Project summaries and concept notes; (iv) Water sector specific reports and presentations; (v) Workshop, seminar and training delivery, among others.

If not otherwise specified, the expert will submit the reviewed documents based on Microsoft Office file formats with changes tracked and comments inserted.

The expert will report to the Project Manager assigned for overall delivery of the Advisory Services.

Travel to PICs may be required. Some assignments might be home office based.
